Counselling Session Structure
-
Counselling sessions can be weekly or fortnightly, depending on your preferences and the avaliability of timeslots. Sessions will usually be on the same day and at the same time each time we meet.
I understand that finding time for counselling in a busy schedule can be a challenge, so offer afternoon and evening sessions. Counselling sessions can be online or via phone. This will be agreed before we meet for our first therapy session. The number of counselling sessions you have is open-ended but we will review how you are finding the counselling regularly. If you would like a set number of sessions this is also possible, please email or phone me to discuss.
-
A standard counselling session is 50 minutes.
If you would like therapy sessions to be longer to suit you, please contact me to discuss this.
-
I currently charge £60 per session.
I offer a limited number of concessionary rates for those who need them.
-
I am passionate about difference and diversity and strive to be actively inclusive of everyone.
I am open to fidget toys being brought to sessions or for writing/doodling to happen. I am happy to discuss any accessibility requirements you may have and will do my best to accommodate them.
All questions are valid and I realise there are lots of factors that go into feeling safe, especially when something is new and different.
